Brick Gothic
Organ must be BIGGER
Wow, I like the pulpit, it's beautiful. I have a couple of ideas for the future: I think that we need to make a balcony on which the organ should stand (the place where it stands now is not very suitable), we need to add more pipes (just right now the organ looks small) I think you know that the size of the organ depends on the size of a cathedral, and the cathedral is quite large, so I think it is necessary to increase organ somewhere in 2-3 times.

Fear not, I have even grander plans for the organ. Actually I plan to build three organs with different sounds, the small one already there will indeed move on a loft, there will be a medium sized swallow's nest organ and in the far future when there is a tower at the western end, there will be a really big organ.
It is mostly just a matter of time. I sink most of the time I have for this project into building the choir with an octagon. I already finished the high choir, but the ambulatory (=lower part) is giving me trouble. The vaults are all asymmetric and I have yet to find a method to fill all the irregular vault cells. I have not thought so much about geometry for a long time! I have finished the vault ribs though.

The pulpit is an adaptation of the one in St. Mary's church in Berlin. I always liked the idea they just cut through the gothic column to build a baroque stairs inside it.

BTW: I have thrown heaps of money at the sound sample problem. All organs in this mod will sound like a Viscount Cantorum Duo.
It seems to me that organs are not made separately (well, I have not seen this), but I know something like "An organ in an organ". And a new organ keyboard is attached to each organ.

And you seriously spent so much money just for the sound? It's just a map where an organ is a part and its sound is a part of the organ, and for that part you went for it? Few people will play the organ, but... no, I don't know... I'm in shock.

Oh yeah, when was the last time I logged in
on your map, then the performance dropped quite noticeably, I think this is due to the benches near the pulpit (more precisely, because of the doors on the benches, there are too many of them, and I think you can remove them) or (but it might seem to me) the cathedral has undergone minor changes and may also affect performance.
to communicate with you, I use a translator, and I hope it translates correctly for you)))

haha, of course I did not buy an electronic organ for this mod, that was just a joke. I always wanted such an instrument.

Concerning the fps drop, I also noticed this, but I think it is the pulpit.

I'm not sure what you mean in the first paragraph though. Maybe that was lost in translation.
Yes, yes, I also want to have an electronic organ at home, but I think that this is impossible, because its price is very high, and if you have money for it, then you need to be able to play it, and this requires a very long training (and first you need to learn to play the piano). It's easier to buy a synth (as I recently did), it doesn't have many real organ sounds, but it's much cheaper.

In the first paragraph of the last comment, I said that I did not see that in cathedrals (and anywhere else) there is more than one organ and I doubt that it would be good to create 3 organs (well, if you observe realism). I hope you understand.
Hmm, I saw that the pulpit also underwent changes, but I did not suspect that it was because of it that productivity was falling, I will check (I will break the pulpit and see if it gets better or not)))).

By the way, I advise you to start with the outer part of your project, if I’m not mistaken, you wanted to make a port on the coast, so when you do it, I would like to have more space on the water (because I can’t swim normally because of the border of your map).
Look, I smashed the lectern, nothing seemed to change, and when I smashed the pew doors, it got better (but then my productivity began to drop due to the amount of garbage). So I still think that this is all because of the doors on the benches.

Concerning the fps drop I did my own simple research and played the map withoit (1) pulpit, (2) benches and (3) chandeliers. Guess what helped? Only the chandeliers. Maybe 22 light sources in one place are a bit too much.

hahaha I didn't even know it was because of them chandeliers, so what are you going to do with the chandeliers?

I don't know. Maybe they get a single light source in the middle, and the individual candles only look like lights. If you do not damage the chandelier, you could not tell the difference. But, you know, running around damaging things is what we do in Teardown ...
Haha well, at first I broke your chandeliers when they were still cubes, when you updated them, I rarely break them because they are beautiful
Wow, cool you made a bell, I really want it to sound louder, because when you stand somewhere at the entrance to the cathedral, it becomes quiet
