I'd suggest that for scouting units the huntress of artemis maybe should have acute senses and a small cost increase? Or adding a new expensive Huntmistress of Artemis unit/commander that has acute senses.
And then possibly some VERY expensive units for Apollo and/or Athena with spirit sense. Or possibly a ritual for the Apollo Oracles to either give another unit acute senses/spirit sight or summoning a magic chest unit(like how the populum mod does it) with an item that gives acute senses/spirit sight.
And on the topic of magic items. It would be nice if most of the spartan units actually had magic item slots asides from the misc slots. As of now it seems only commanders(and not all of them) have proper magic slots.
Once again, LOVING the mod. One of my favorite faction mods so far.
You're right. The Hunters of Artemis would have acute senses, so I've added those. The champion for each path also now has some sort of stealth sense, mostly for reasons pertaining to their mythology. However, I also gave acute senses to the Skiritai Captain for the traditional military (which was accompanied by a notable price increase and drop in recruitment frequency).
That should be enough vision for now, regardless of which patron path is taken.
Also of note, we have added a couple of new units to diversify the traditional military. There are still plans to expand on each patron path a bit and include more end-game options, so stay tuned ;)
On another note, compatibility with CO might be better, if you associate your newritpow's with a number. That number is NOT free but a continuing integer from the last defined. So if vanilla has like 70(not sure exact number), the first newritpow you define in a mod would be in this case 71.
I think you have like 7 newritpow definitions. These WILL clash with any mod, which uses ritpow as well, if you are not careful with your numbering. Also calling up ritpow without referencing to the number of ritpow makes it very easy to mess up.
Anyways, just something i thought might be helpful, if it is indeed so, all good, if not, no worries.
Cheers Leo.
Hey thanks for the suggestion!
Taking a look at the code for CO, I now see what you mean. I'll do some rewriting of the ritpows and see if I can clean that up. I wasn't previously aware of that, so I appreciate you bringing it up.
