Broken carrying animation on Linux fix (one hand holding)
Hey @Skizot, thank you for the awesome mod. I've seen several reports about broken carrying animation on Linux (a character holds an item in one hand instead of two). This is caused by wrong directory name: the directory Anims_X must be anims_X . It works on Windows because directory names are case insensitive on Win but they are case sensitive on Linux. Could you please commit this fix? Thanks

You're welcome. As a temporary solution you can just copy-paste the Anims_X directory and save a copy named anims_X. It's important to copy and not rename the existing directory to keep the game working on multi-player on servers with this mode

hmmm I'm not sure steam will take a case change, I will give it a try though. i know we can't remove files, we just have to empty them.

I managed to fix the bug for steam deck using goHas advice:

Go to desktop mode, open up Dolphin file manager and navigate to your steam workshop folder

Once in the workshop folder, click the magnifying glass icon located at the top right of this window and search for anims_x

a list of anims_x folders will come up as it's common for mods to use but the one you want to change is the one with a capital A

You can rename it there or right click, open in new window, navigate up one folder and rename it to a lower case anims_x

Doing this and it now works on the Steam deck,
Thanks so much for this great mod Skizot

In case someone wants to solve the problem in Ubuntu/Linux, the solution is practically the same. If you can't find your mods folder, they are most likely to be in:

/home/USERNAME/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/.

in my case was:
/home/USERNAME/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/108600/2921029369/mods/Skizots Visible Boxes and Garbage2/media/

Where just need to rename Anims_X to anims_X

GL.

I have the same bug, one hand holding everything, corpses, generator, boxes, everything.
