No plans to host a server. And I highly doubt Xavorion will be popular enough to form an active community.

Just a piece of information, since I know dedicated servers are being used:

• X is much heavier than Vanilla, and that limits amount of possible players on a server.
  
• I only expected multiplayer to work for friendly cooperation with 2-8 players, if game works with more people - that's awesome,
  but features were more important( from my perspective ), than large online servers.

So, singleplayer experience was a priority when creating this.
I'm realy glad people are interested, but I'm obliged to cool down some expectations.

Id be interested in sharing my server details, 32 gb, 12 core 24 thread, raid 0 ssd, 1GB fiber, but would like permission before just blasting it out there.

Permission granted, playerbase is very small, I see no harm in sharing your server here, or anywhere else.

Server name Avalon Reanimated, temp player limit 40, running Xavorion pack, plus a few other small mods.

Yeah, Avorion is quite a unique game but it definitely needs a larger playerbase to tap into. It's unfortunate because Mods like this one seem to add useful features that would be cool to see at scale. Perhaps in the future as the game becomes better optimized. Nice to know some people are still putting effort into the Community here.

We are looking at running XAvorion on Rusty’s… one of the more popular PvP servers :)

I am currently running a private server for some of my friends. you updated class upgrades today to 2.6 from 2.5 and it broke the server. any idea how to fix?

It should just force downloading update for both server & clients. How does the issue look like for you? What broke exactly?

I get the Error: Error while enabling mods: mox Xavorion: Class upgrades [3165545472] has the wrong version. Required: 2.5*, Installed 2.6

So it's the server that wasnt updated. If you're the admin, you'll need to restart/update it

It isnt working what do LM? ive restarted server and also stopped and started it.
Also the error message says

That message appears when you try to connect with server, right?

So the version your game client has is 2.5 - while server got updated and has 2.6

Btw. It was working last time you played - build mode is Client side, that's why only upgrade removal was working for engineering module, and not build mode. Just a client version issue

EDIT:

Mods usually update after restaring client. Not sure how that works in your setup - maybe you'll need to remove cached mods in %APPDATA%/Avorion/mods/ folder?

EDIT#2:

If that cache removal wont work - you may need to try subscribing Xavorion collection.
It will download latest version for client - no idea why it's even needed in your case.
