Future of the project
First, sorry for my disappearance since last update.
Due to personal reasons, y didn't have nor the time nor the motivation to continue playing Zomboid and providing support to the mods. In addition, looking at the reworks to the crafting that are planned to come with the Build 42, I let the project on hold. And without knowing, quite some time has passed. I planned on coming back after the build 42 was released, but it looks like they are taking some time.
I still don't have time to continue providing support since I started my own game on unreal, but if anyone wants to take the lead, I can give permissions to the GitHub repository, so the project can continue to be maintained.

Good morning! I can't seem to DM you, so I hope it's okay that I ask this here.

My friends and I love the idea of CEC, and would like to add it into another existing mod. Is it okay if we use the contents of files like "ISDoubleTileTable.lua" to add functionality and then credit you for your work?

The initial idea was to provide a framework in which to expand. Having multiple instances of the same mod kind of defeats a bit of the purpose. Although, taking into account I don't have the time to support and maintain it, I will allow it. Just try to minimize it, only do it if the current one cant be used.

Your workstations are very good in themselves. But I wanted to change them or replace them. By my machines

And many people come to ask me

"how to use a forge, how to use a mechanic's bench"

And even though I specify that I didn't add craftings to your mod, but rather used it to make my machines, people don't read it


I wanted your permission to add your framework natively to my mod, I will leave the original link in the description of my mod
and all mention of your original work



But I wanted permission to be able to just leave my machines, will you allow me?

if what you want is to remove the benches because people see they are able to place them but then don´t find any use, you can make your mod in a way that it override and remove their recipe. If that still doesn´t fit your requirements, i give you permission to do whatevere you want with my mod.

@ThehunterJP Thank you very much for the permission, your work is incredible. I'm now trying to find a way to try to make it necessary to have a certain level of skill to be able to make the machines, for now without success

@Russo good luck with it, looks interesting, i myself are gonna wait until build 42 before comming back to modding. There seems to be quite the cool features comming and excited to toy with them.
