A: Increased Unhappiness The provinces are about 2.5X as unhappy. You could invest in expensive buidlings to counter this, lower taxes, etc. But the unhappiness will allow you to take stray regions that your friendly neighbor owns (when it revolts) and encourages old factions to reemerge. It can even be used to get rid of a far-flung conquest to an ally or to incite a rebellion through raiding in a province you wish to gradually take over.
B:Increased Corruption[/h2]. It is far too easy to amass wealth in TOB in an era when economies were rife with corruption. Yet corruption is often at 0 in towns of veteran governors in TOB.
This mod makes corruption endemic and impossible to escape as one's empire expands. There are a number of buildings and character bundles that still decrease corruption, but to less of an extent. With a large empire, you will find that vassals bring in more income than new provinces. This puts a strong check on steamrolling factions.
Thoughts on why TOB Vanilla and mods don't use unhappiness like Attila?
