Player damage different?

So I am using the basic male_07 playermodel and my friend shot me in the head 4 times with this .338 and did only 80 damage to me? We tested this and for some reason a 55 damage 7.62x51mm takes 4 to 5 shots instead of 2? I don't understand how this is even possible?

it really doesent matter your skin, if its a skin like from the workshop maybe could be different with the hitbox or something like that, but the skins in the base game are equal no matter what
