Solution Guide
This guide contains only the solution to each puzzle. Hints can be found in the room itself. Find the sword in the log, select it, and all of the story stones around the room will reveal hints.

1. The Map of Urhagall
To solve this puzzle, Each numbered nail form 1 to 6 must be placed in the correct spot on the map, signifying the route that Gromm has taken on his journey.
-Number 1 goes on the small island to the south west.
-Number 2 goes on the swamp-like land with the jagged trees, northeast of the previous nail.
-Number 3 goes on the spot on top of the mountain range, or the "spine of the world".
-Number 4 goes on the tall tower near the south.
-Number 5 goes in the forest in the north east.
-The final nail goes in the capital space on the south east.

2. Valkyries
-Each story below much match up with the picture that is described
-The first story tells of a warrior with a form of "fog and glass," which describes the Valkyrie with no color and a faded form
-The Valkyrie that "pierced the sky and sewed the clouds" and is "born without sight" describes the Valkyrie with a spear and closed eyes
-The Valkyrie described as a former duelist, which matches the figure with only one arm
-"Drenched in blood" and "single sight, twinned in arms" describes the one eyed Valkyrie with two axes

3. Feast of Vikings

-A note is left by the hearth that details who sits where and what mead they would need.
-Gromm Birchbeard, the chief, sits across from the tree others, place the apple/pepper mead there
-Erlend Steel-fist stays on Gromm's most right side. Place the mead with two plants on it on the far left of the three plates
-Kirk Ivory-Horn stays far from Erlend, Place the berry/plant mead far from Erlend's on the right side.
-Miranda All-sight sits next to Kirk. Place the grape mead in the center
-don't forget their drumsticks, place them all on the plates.

4. Runic Poems
-First, find the sheet of runic symbols at the very far corner of the longhouse on a table
-Each stone has a poem that describes one of the symbols, you have four symbols to choose from in each poem.
-First poem: Cold grain describes hail
-Second poem: joy of a horseman describes a rider
-third poem: shining rays describe the sun
-fourth poem: land of the fish describes water
-Solution: 4,2,2,3

5. Runes and their meanings
-use the same rune sheet from the previous puzzle, found on a table
-Read each description that has two blanks each, the correct wooden rune must be placed in them
-First: When the sun sets, who goes to sleep?
-second: When it gets cold, what turns from liquid to solid?
-Third If you have it all, what could you be considered?
solutions:
1. sun, human kind
2. water, ice
3. wealth, need

Once all puzzles are solved, the door to the longhouse will open

Well done! Beautiful, unique, and mostly intuitive. So well done that I wanted to leave a rare feedback. The puzzles were fantastic and well-written. I love wordy puzzles vs. endless number locks, so props there. Your graphical assets were top-notch.

I had no bugs on the map puzzle like others did, but did feel it was a bit vague. I ended up using the solution in case it was a bug after finding the most 'likely' path (I couldn't come up with a solution where the tower wasn't #3). To be fair, I do often check the reviews to be aware of any possible bugs, so I probably gave up too quickly on it after I was 'certain' I had the only solution. The term "spine of the world" equating to mountains wasn't my immediate conclusion paired with "seeing the tower", but it does make sense to me after the fact.

The dining puzzle was excellently written and I wanted 'more' of it. I wish there was a 5th person as the person sitting across the table paired "kept him to his right" and "had to be kept separate" pretty much led to an instant solve it that made other clues irrelevant..

Great, great work and fantastic puzzles!
