Honestly, I don't think Remote play was designed to handle a game which utilizes multiple monitors, and what I assume happens is it's confuses Remote play on what to display for the non-host client.
I found that the problem resolves itself once turning off the dual monitor feature.
If you're dead set on testing out the feature, the only way I've come across is through Parsec.
