Guide for Miko
Ozzatron and I have made this detailed guide, that I will be linking here. It is also much better formatted than what this once was.

Gotta be honest it is quite fun to see a new move appear while testing and asking "what this do" and seeing a crazy move. Tho can u please add a hustle, its a lot easier to test supers with it

I've written a lengthy text file that documents Miko in disgusting detail, but here's the stuff you probably want to know:
  • Miko has a hidden style meter that ranges from 0 to 25. If it's 10 or higher, her ghost flashes during previews
  • Miko has a hidden and nameless self-buff that I call "Motivated"
  • Using Bankai with 10 or higher style and with a total movement of less than 0.05 activates Motivated
  • Motivated gives Miko 28% DR (1.25x -> 0.9x damage taken), regenerates 10 HP every 3 frames, and continuously generates super meter
  • If Miko's HP is full, being Motivated instead generates super meter 5x faster
  • While Motivated, Divine Burial is an instant kill no matter what the opponent's health is or if they are blocking

Here's how to get style:
  • Taking 500 damage from opponent combos = +1 style
  • Using Gishiki or Bankai = +1 style
  • Parrying at close range = +3 style
  • Parrying or blocking anything at longer range: +1 style
Style never decays and can be "cashed in" for Motivated any time Miko is flashing. Having more Style makes Motivated last longer.

You can set the starting meter in single player anywhere from 0 to 9.99.

Also, Miko has a Hustle. It is called Immortal Temptation and requires L3 Meter.

man i wish i knew that game config sooner lol. Also, do you have an estimate for how long motivated lasts depending on how many stacks of style you have?
Ozzatron 2. des. 2023 kl. 21.00
Motivated lasts at least 410 frames (6.83 seconds), at 10 Style Points. You get an extra 30 frames (1/2 second) of Motivated for each Style Point above 10. You can think of each Style Point as +0.5s Motivation.
  • Each additional 500 damage taken = +0.5s / +30f Motivation
  • Each additional Gishiki or Bankai = +0.5s / +30f Motivation
  • Each additional close range parry = +1.5s / +90f Motivation
  • Each additional long range block or parry = +0.5s / +30f Motivation

::edit:: Removed Dropbox document. Please read the guide at the top of this post.

I'm not sure if Steam allows Dropbox links, but here's the whole Dropbox document.[www.dropbox.com]

To the best of my ability, this file contains full documentation of every single aspect of Miko as of November 29, 2023.
damn this helps a lot thanks

So i did some testing myself and it seems there are 2 variants of motivated, you must use bankai again to get to the second state. The only thing I noticed from the difference is the second state gives you access to literally every super. Also, regardless of what motivated state you are in divine burial does not instant kill, I have been trying different conditions but I still could not trigger it.
Ozzatron 4. des. 2023 kl. 19.51
There being a second state of Motivated is a new change as of today. I suppose I can enter an arms race this holiday season. If I must.

::edit:: I have updated the documentation for Void Trigger and Void Factor (their names, as far as I can tell), as well as Divine Burial's new instant kill requirements. Kudos to InklessBrush for providing patch notes; that made this much, much quicker.

Gishiki no longer provides a Void Trigger notch.

Oddities in the December 4th update:
1. Blocking or parrying at a distance will activate Void Factor unwillingly.
2. Parrying at close range makes Void Factor inaccessible for the remainder of the match due to setting you to 3 notches (which is not exactly 1).
3. Paled Heart counts as spending 3 bars of meter instead of 2 for Divine Burial, despite only costing 2.

Ozzatron 5. des. 2023 kl. 8.05
The above issues with locking yourself out of Void Factor or using it unwillingly have been fixed. Void Factor is now activated by using Bankai with < 0.05 movement while in Void Trigger.
Penutbroski 5. des. 2023 kl. 19.21
damn using 9 bars before match end is difficult, but for an instant kill i guess thats understandable
Ozzatron 6. des. 2023 kl. 9.11
Much better than what it used to be. You used to be able to get two or three parries and then instant kill someone from like 2/3 HP on a single hit confirm (or air stall with Gishiki + Denied Wish for free Notches).
