Unemployment, Industrialisation, and Enclosure
Philosophically I love this mod, so I hope that something can be done regarding the masses of unemployed swamping Europe and Asia right from 1836. It leads to a situation where no one can industrialise fast enough to put them to work- and by the 1860's-70's the economy gets locked into a doom spiral: as revolting unemployed pops demand wage subsidies, that will be so astronomical in cost as to prevent any government spending on construction.

This also leads to a situation in which industrialisation just plays *wrong*. Building farms (and thus simulating the process of 'enclosure'), is a waste of time as a player it does nothing to reduce unemployment. Similarly any labour saving measures such as farm tools, rather than 'freeing up' cheap labour to allow the growth of factories and extractive industries, only serves to hasten economic collapse. I appreciate that the intention is to have the poor, huddled masses yearning to migrate to the Americas, but even mass migrations seem to barely mitigate the issue.

Perhaps to better simulate the demographic push and pull from rural to city, subsistence farmers should be more reluctant/resistant to the pull of factory jobs- thus necessitating the construction of farms, ranches & plantations, which as they become more efficient create the unemployed that are pulled to the factories. And should industry grow too slowly to provide employment, or indeed further mechanisation make labourers redundant, *that* will create the mass of unemployed & disenfranchised to fuel migration abroad (and revolution at home). To put it another way, the financial interests of the aristocracy, capitalists, and the state should demand the elimination of the subsistence farmer, and the subsistence farmer shouldn't be so keen to become a labourer by their own choice.

I'm not savvy enough to try modding myself, but I hope this feedback is helpful!
