I won't be changing consoles to all be cockpit blocks for a couple of reasons. For one, it keeps variety at a happy level, the code isn't a mess, and there aren't overwhelmingly many options. The Straight Console will receive some treatment and that will be it for the current consoles. Future consoles though...I won't spoil much. Diagonal Consoles are on the way, and hud/displays are possible with the HUD Controller.

I've looked at your idea quite a bit and don't have a good way of implementing it correctly. I like the idea of the centered console; but as you mentioned, there isn't a vanilla way to implement more than one seat in a single cockpit. However, there will be something introduced called the "Corner Console" that you might be interested in making a quad out of!

I like the idea, but I'll have to put it to the side for now for two reasons, the first being that I have a few other projects on hand and won't be able to get around to this one. Secondly, I want to wait to see what type of inventory block Keen will introduce in the next SE update and see if it simplifies some code for me to mess with.
WW2 ships is an interesting style! I try to make the consoles look as retro as possible, but I think what makes them so unique is that there is not a single tactile button on any of them, only screens. I'll consider and do some research, but I can't promise anything.

I haven't thought of the passenger seat concept yet. The Console Straight has a seat variant now; you can check the change notes section to see it. The Corner, Diagonal, Curve Long, and Curve Short Consoles will not have cockpit variants because they don't face forward. I'll think about the passenger seat code like with the corner desk, but as of right now I don't think you can use the toolbar in a passenger seat. I don't think it'd be of practical use...

I won't do that for up keeping reasons; the code was jumbled and broken so I fixed it. With that came changing a lot of block ids and therefore the pack is no longer compatible with it's former versions.

Hats off to you good sir for your amazing ideas. I love the captain chair concept and will try some things before I release a final version in the next update. Hologram consoles are also coming. I don't know when it will happen, but the next update will be the largest and last primary update for a while as I sort out life ahead.
