State of the Mod and B42
Hello everyone,

First and foremost I want to thank everyone who has subscribed to this mod in the last 2 years or so. It is so wild to me that the very first game mod I have ever made just because I wanted to do more farming in a PZ roleplay server (rip Day's End) has gotten so much traction over the years.

But there are a few things to note.

1. It's not perfect but you have options:

It was my very first mod and my intro to LUA coding. So there are bugs, many, many bugs that still go beyond my understanding of how the game works. There are some very lovely people who have made patches and adaptations, to which I thank! And hope that I can, in time, learn from their patches to improve the core version. I've seen some patches on the workshop, and I know UFP and Wasteland RP have made improvements so that may be a direction to go if you're having a hard time with my core version here.

2. Where the mod stands:

As the mod stands right now. I have started trying to fix this mod time and time again just to hit some roadblocks and give up. I took a long break from PZ in general. Learned Python and Java. Came back and still got hung up on the LUA. At some point, I sort of just gave up on it until B42 came out.

And then it did... which leads me to my next point.

3. Where the mod is going:

The day after B42 unstable came out, I pulled up the farming code and I'm happy to say that the base game has improved the farming code. A lot of the issues and bugs that my mod ran into seemed to be from over-taxing the base game framing capacities (which was originally a mod in and of itself in case you didn't know!). And, I say with tentative hesitation, it looks like there were improvements made across the board to better allow for expansion to the base system.

So what does this mean?

Well, it means I'm willing to try and prepare a version of this mod for B42. I can't promise it will be released soon as I am going to try to take my time, cut what doesn't work, and keep what does. Also, probably chop it into multiple smaller mods similar to what I've seen more experienced modders do, that way there is less confusion on "Which version do I use???".

As for the current mod, as I know many people are still in B41. Well, she'll be on life support until B42 takes full effect, and then she'll get the ole obsolete flag but I won't take her down in case somebody wants her. There is always one.

Thank you all again for your support and guidance. I'm really happy to see there are so many people that still love this f**ed up lil mod of mine even when my passion for it had run dry. Really, it means so much to me and I hope to bring something just as lovely to B42 for all my fellow farmer friends.

TLDR:
- B41 version will stick around but is not going to be worked on. Retirement home.
- A version for B42 is being worked on, slowly, no ETA for release yet
- Baby's first mod got real big, so thanks for that!
