I've found the issue, there is a problem with creatures dying by being dragged into a den and that wasn't accounted for and causes this issue. I'll update the mod soon (probably tomorrow)

Ah, don't worry about that. It seems CrazyWeapons mod has a catch for errors that shows up in all logs regardless of if it is the cause or not. Hopefully that clears up confusion in the future.

Renabled the mod to see if it works fine. Seems there is a issue with it effecting vultures? I tried calling some down with a grub and they would show up but never dive down to get me and only ever descend into visibility on rare occasion before going back up. I think they even ignored damage but I am unsure.

that's weird as it should only affect creatures dying, but i'll look into that as well

Alright I found out it wasn't this and is more likely something caused by Fisobs or the Pokeball mod. Sorry for the confusion.
