Cutscenes are fine as of right now, for me
Starting upgrades are really short. I only get energy 2 and sword and arrow deflection, you should add more base starting weapons, including bow. It makes the early combat more fun if you have more starting weapons, at least for me. upgrade bot upgrades feel a bit limited too.
Checkpoints are fine.
The reactor explosion style and this level's style still feel the same for me, it just doesn't use platforms, tiles, etc as much. I don't find it visually appealing most of the time tbh.
The level length for the final version imo should be at least 4-3x longer then the demo, the level length really plays a role when it feels like it's finished or not.
edit: will add better starting upgrades too
Also after replaying this, there seems to be some more things that i missed, so here's more feedback:
- At spawning at hollowed's part the animation doesn't activate unless you go backwards from where you spawn which is weird
- If you are under the wooden tower when it breaks it causes you to fall out of the world.
- The barrels that roll down the hill are not really that dangerous, they just push you down and are very easy to avoid, and the first time i encountered them i just went past them and went on, maybe remove it, or change it so it's more dangerous
- The community members featured in this level are sometimes out of character and are basically just a different colored enemy you need to fight. Maybe add different unique keyframe attacks to each member that you fight so it's more hard instead of just fighting a singular enemy with
- Also i feel like of the appearences of the members are really short and there could be more done with them, maybe not to the point where each creator gets their own level but still a portion of the level with things about them
- All of the areas with grass feel a bit flat, maybe add bushes or trees to them.
