to-do list. but besides that, I was also wondering why the heat ray was on only one side. in the movie, the Tripods fire from both sides, so I was wondering why this one doesn't. Is that also something you intend to ad/fix? Also, I just noticed that the legs are pretty stiff and the Tripod tends to trip on just about anything it steps on.
I have some suggestions (I'm not a developer of any kind, so take this with a grain of salt).
Firstly, you could try making the legs a bit more flexible (by adding more joints) and/or add a trip safeguard so that the tripod doesn't constantly fall on relatively small elevations.
Maybe put the heat ray on joint of some kind so that the AI can aim it at the player. Maybe use some of the code from the robot's gun AI.
I'm not sure if these are possible or not, so again, take this with a grain of salt.
I love the mod, can't wait to see where it goes!
About the legs, does this still occur in the new update? Some people are saying that it is fixed. Please let me know
