how do i edit items???
maybe i'm stupid but i can't figure out how to edit a value in the item editor. if i try to say, modify a copper shortsword's damage, it switches back to 5 once i finish editing it.

Same. I tried to click enter, double click enter, press enter, press mouse1, press mouse2, double click them as well, but all didn't work.

From my guess, it's because of the 2025 March Stable updating breaking it (As it worked fine in February)
