Hi, this is a thread for bug reports. BEFORE REPORTING A BUG, MAKE SURE IT'S FROM CRS AND NOT ANOTHER MOD!

It's preferred that bugs are reported to me (bro#5929) on Discord (you can find me on RW Main[discord.gg]) or on GitHub,[github.com] but if you prefer Steam, then this is the place for that.

The mod is having trouble with modded slugcats. it was working pretty fine with them yesterday but now it takes too long to load into a custom region.

having a minor bug on my end where the mouse cursor appears during gameplay.

Hello there! CRS's audio file loading seems to bug out and overload the game when encountering the Echo at The Wall, I encountered this specifically in Hunter's campaign. The game slows, the frame rate drops exponentially, and the game eventually crashes. CRS is used to load another mod known as Extra Threat Themes which inserts more music into already existing regions. Problems with encountering echoes while trying to load music using CRS as a base seems to be a reoccurring problem that I figured you should know abt, since this is something the creator of ETT cannot do anything about.

@almostfunhere Do you have Howling Rift Code Stuff enabled? I've heard that mod is actually the culprit for that issue rather than CRS, but if you don't I can look into it.

I do have it enabled! Though Howling Rift Code Stuff is required for one of the custom regions I like, perhaps I should powwow with HRCS's developer. Does having the mod enabled or disabled create problems for music triggering?

i reported it on the github linked in the mod description a couple months back, but it seems like the entire thing's kind of outdated, so uh...

basically, i'm having the same issue as almostfunhere, or was having the same issue last i checked.
i do not have HRCS installed, and if i'm remembering correctly, this issue happened with only "base-game" mods (MSC, remix, etc.), CRS, and ETT.
i think it might be related to some log spamming i noticed - around the time the echo music kicks in, the log is filled with "NEW MUSIC REGION: SI" (the specific log i pulled that from was from testing in sky islands)
the lag and crash only occurs with ETT, when meeting echoes in regions with custom threat music. however, the log spam appears to happen everywhere that has echo music, regardless of whether ETT is enabled.
i did inform the ETT dev, and was asked to bring this to the CRS devs instead.

This mod has been giving me issues where threat music doesn't play when it's active. I deactivated every other mod to make sure it wasn't an incompatibility problem and it wasn't, pls fix :(

@Ecl1ptic This should only be a problem in v0.10.4.0, but the current version is v0.10.4.1. Please check to make sure yours is up to date

Hello, idk if this is known, but it wasn't in the bug report here, so I wanted to bring up that for some reasons with this mod on I get frequent loss of frames spikes, it only seemed to happen when this mod was on.

@bro748 My game freezes whenever I try to load custom broadcasts in the collection menu, even if the broadcasts are collected legitimately. The crslog.txt reveals a long series of identical lines, saying something like "file to be read is [Broadcast]", but repeated many many times.

I think this means crs can't find the custom broadcast files, but I don't know what's causing it. Please help me.

@Bodmin Yes, the collections menu isn't implemented yet for anything in CRS. It's hardcoded in really weird ways so it's a bit tricky to figure out (I find it strange the broadcasts even show up as options on the menu) but the next update is planned to support the collections menu.

@Rotmaster that exception is in the vanilla code, and CRS shouldn't touch anything related to the mod merger. If you're on the Rain World discord server, I'd recommend making a new post in the bug report channel and we can get a better look at what's going on here.
