Catching these errors when loading the mod. Disappears without it.

I found a bug. I can only craft the chainsword half of the time. Every other time I craft it get´s started as a "wood" chainsword which can´t be crafted. The ressources are gone, but the crafting ends without a result. The next chainsword is always a "steel" one which get´s crafted and is completely normal.

Thanks for finding this one, it's likely something to do with inherited defs.

There a minor bug with the ResearchProjectDef VOV_Melee_Weapons, it's wanting Light Bolters instead of Melee Armaments.

It appears that the CE patch doesn't work with the new CE. I am getting no item descriptions for the weapons, and the CE ammo doesn't show up in the loading bench or machining bench, even in god mode. And the armour stats are pathetic. A basic flak jacket is roughly equivalent to oakbreaker armour in terms of defence.

Okay so ive narrowed it down to just CE and the bolters mod. It is something with the bolters mod causing a pink box to appear. Whether or not this is a CE thing or its this mod causing it im not sure. I still aint getting logs when i fire the weapon. Is all weapons too by the looks of things, the pink box doesnt follow the my pawn so i wonder if its something like shell casings that dont have a texture or something.

Edit:
Hovering over the pink box says smoke trail and spent casings so i bet the smoke trail is causing the issues. Might need to check that.

Edit 2:
Seems to actually be the CE patch causing it. Removing CE doesnt show that pink box

CE patch is still not loading for me, even with just Harmony, CE and Vagar, and I'm not sure why. I have done the unsub-resub thing two times now. The mod files have been updated, so that isn't the problem. The only thing I can think of is that CE switching to the LoadFolder system is the culprit, but I am not a Rimworld modder and have very little knowledge of how making CE patches actually works.

This isnt usually recommended but have you tried just deleting all the files in rimworld? Then running the file scan from steam and forcing the files to be reinserted. Make sure you unsub from CE and this one. Sounds like a corrupted file/folder, copy your saves and your mod configs too but dont put those back in until after you test to see if it works.

Didn't help, but I did figure out the issue. For some reason, Rimworld was loading a manually installed older version of CE 1.5, even though the mod menu showed the one with the Steam icon as active.
