Bug: Insta-kill is always live
Reading the passive "Head-on Confrontation" like 10 times, it clearly states,
"If damage type is Soul damage, and if the first dice of the first combat page the character uses each scene is Slash, when this dice dealing soul damage, change the "current HP" to "maximum HP."

Let's break this down:

- If damage type is Soul damage,
This is all his attacks, therefore is always happening; thanks to "Heart of Courge" (I suppose you meant Courage*)

- and if the first dice of the first combat page the character uses each scene is Slash
So, it's like "Punishment" on Binah's floor, but exclusively for Slash attacks.
This implies that if the first combat page used this scene by Cole is NOT slash, then this entire passive is dead. Sadly, the bug is here as it is always live.

- when this dice dealing soul damage, change the "current HP" to "maximum HP"
This is hard to understand but the end result is "just insta-kill the enemy."
I thought it would copy Corki's effect of reducing max HP, but nah! Insta-kill! And ya know what, that's fine. Whatever. It is designed for a 3v1 and this mod and Corki are absolute "get ready for a bad time" sort of arrangement.

The bug is that it doesn't matter what happens, if he hits you with ANY SLASH ATTACK -> that's death. There is no meme here, you just die. Doesn't matter if you break the conditions of this insta-kill by making his first combat page's dice be something else, like pierce or block -> he will still get his insta-kill off anyway.

This includes "No Way Out" which breaks his condition for an insta-kill because it's block -> pierce -> THEN slash.
Logically, the first dice on the first combat page he uses is, guess what? NOT SLASH. So why does his insta-kill happen anyway?

Before you ask, I've tested this in a few ways:
1) No Way Out's slash attack will insta-kill PLUS another slash attack he does will also insta-kill
2) Defeating No Way Out's slash attack -> then he uses another slash attack -> that'll still insta-kill.
3) Defeating both slash attacks -> and if he used a third, that's an insta-kill

Effectively: if he uses a slash attack and it hits you, that's an insta-kill. If this is intended, then reword the passive to:

"If damage type is Soul damage and the dice is Slash, change the "current HP" to "maximum HP."
effectively implying "you get hit by a slash attack from Cole, you die."

If this is not intended, then please fix it.
In its current state with all the insta-kills, you cannot reasonably solo this with vanilla content.
