Loading is fixed.
Not sure it really fix all corruption.
Please check:
Perhaps it doesn't work if you have already entered a star system with this ship in it, but the game hasn't generated the actual ship yet or something?
Anyway, I think, since the game apparently does complain about ships being deleted in this way, it is better for me to move these ships back as I think it's critical peoples savegames don't start getting corrupted.
I do want to point out that the chance of this happening is rather small as it's only 1 or 2 of these older versions I removed, but I will add it back (better safe than sorry) and upload a fixed version of this mod in a bit.
This error is really strange though as it shouldn't happen if an entry is removed. Even the base game removed a ship a while ago (a ship got renamed and thus the old entry got removed, without any ill effect).
The reason why your fix worked is because I had only removed the entry, but not the ship file itself. The only downside now is that Wardens will be a bit more common now, but oh well.
And thanks for posting the error message and fix as well, and well done being able to fix this on your own :)
Where I live we're going through a heatwave for about a week now and modding in this heat kinda sucks, so I'm glad it could be fixed rather quickly.
My apologies for the inconvenience.
