ARC9 Escape From Tarkov
Shooting Animations Disabled on Multiplayer Servers
For whatever reason, a majority of these guns have their shooting animations disabled when I'm running them in peer-to-peer/local servers. Any idea what's causing this?

you mean in thirdperson?
if so, eft guns don't have shooting animations and rely on procedural recoil only which is calculated for local player (you) only, not for other players
No, it's in first person. Specifically they're replaced with these really simple, almost one-frame animations that look kinda poopy. I should probably show you over video

you sure physical recoil enabled in arc9 settings?
Disabling it doesn't cause the issue I'm experiencing.

No idea, works fine for me
Then what the ♥♥♥♥'s going on? Because I've uninstalled a whole bunch of mods, disabled a few other ones, verified my game files, uninstalled and reinstalled Arc9... I don't get it.
I've checked, and this issue also occurs on dedicated servers, but in a slightly different way

there's nothing i can do about it
base was made in singleplayer (not by me) so it works best there

Could you ask Arctic about this, or would he not approve?

last time he touched arc9 was 2 years ago
This cannot possibly be that hard of a fix`

oh recoil is something i've been trying to make work correctly for tens of hours

multiplayer and singleplayer gmod have a lot of differences for developers, making something work good on one config will break on other, theres different tickrates, different ping for players and p2p/dedi differences

it work okayish in multiplayer, noone uses pistols anyway
