I need you to go into the properties of hoi4 by right clicking on hoi4 in steam then going to properties and at the bottom type in -crash_data_log This makes it to where you can see the last read file before the game crashed. Then open up a start date or something that was crashing your game and wait for the crash. Once the game crashes go to you hoi4 game files within the Documents if you are on windows. for example it would be : C:\Users\[YOUR NAME]\Documents\Paradox Interactive . Once you did that look up meta and you should find a file called Meta open it using what ever notepad program you have and at the bottom you should see last read tell me what the last read is on your part. Once you are finished you can disable the -crash_data_log by going back into properties and deleting it from the box.
