@Arbiter I will make a update the post with more details when I find the time to test it again myself. But you could try just adding for example two small thrusters onto a small ship. These thrusters should not be able to lift the ship on their own without the mod. However, using the mod to adjust the thrusters to max, the ship should be able to lift. However since the thrusters can not normally support the ship, you should see a desync or rubberbanding effect happen occasionally when braking or lifting.
