when you spawn try to find:
a car
a base
and a map
look for bases they contain the most amount of spawns and zombies
and also punch both the white and orange crates the white crates give you magazines and the orange give ammo boxes now try to get any sort of way to heal yourself as alot things will spawn to kill you packs of wolves polar bears zombies etc i recomend salvaging clothes i reccomend finding a alice pack as fast as possible (they are super common) but yea heres some tips:
salvage useless things for healing items
the first skill you want is warmblooded so you can survive in the cold
bring heatstims idk how to craft them but you can get them off zombies
also light the fire in a cage in a cave so you die when you spawn somewhere else
