Artificer Slugpup Trouble

I wanted to rebind the back slugpup so that the rocket jump wouldn't dismount the pup, but all it does is make it so that the new bind can be used for putting the pup on your back, while still leaving in the rocket issue. Does anyone have any solutions to this?

yes, another mod called slugpup safari i think might remedy it

I tried the slugpup safari mod, but unfortunately it did not work.
