Left 4 Dead 2

Last Breath
Nicky Grimes's Review of Last Breath: Enjoyable, Replayable, and Greater Potential
This campaign was very fun to play in co-op with friends and also challenging in single-player.

Improvements
- General lighting is alright. The underground level was a nice breather from the very dark stages but at some point where I was looking for more graffiti arrows and environmental cues to help - I still ended up going in circles at least twice in some areas. (ex: Climbing to the top of the street to cross the bridge to the finale, and in the beginning).

This didn't hinder the campaign completely, but it might've caused me to take a bit longer to get used to having my flashlight on for a majority of the outdoors section.
My suggestion (not should do), is maybe adding some dimmer lighting on areas that players can be drawn to explore and sticking to the path. That would help for those who may have eyestrain in some darker areas than most.

- Maybe ammo piles where the graffiti arrows are can help out refill our weapons on the go. I imagine it wouldn't be the case on higher difficulty, but when it comes to newer and less competitive players, it'd be something nice to find as I didn't find a lot of ammo piles in the main routes the bots and myself were taking for the first time.

- I could've missed it throughout my playthroughs, so feel free to correct me on this. I found that the bots were stuck in some areas when I got incapacitated. I do have the Left 4 Bots mod on, so again, that could be on me.

Missing Textures/Cubemaps causing Eye Strain
- From the underground level and onwards, I found that there was a lot of missing textures and unfinished cubemaps on the metallic parts. While playing with friends, we had to end up skipping some rooms of the later levels like the dance floor, the research center, and the rest of the underground stairs. I did subscribe to the content pack, but I'm not sure where to go from there. If it involves installing another game to make the content appear like mounting it in Garry's Mod - I might not replay it again in the future until the error is fixed.

Awesome Things about this camapign
- Doesn't depend on Tanks around every corner for a challenge. I encountered more Witches than Tanks, and honestly. Thank you, dude. It's a very nice breather from campaigns that spawns too many Tanks or hordes in a single level!

- The dance floor! Maybe some party lighting to help make it more inviting since this is the highlight of the club? :D There wasn't blue lights around, so adding those to a space that's filled with white lights can make a nice blend without making it contrast against the environment too much.

- Tier 2 and melee weapons are available very early on in the campaign. This provides players a lot of assistance when if you accidentally fall through the holes, or receive pushback from the Special Infected.

All in all, I really enjoyed this campaign. The Special and Common Infected are able to spawn well without them getting stuck. The finale is not difficult. I recommend this and will come back again to play it later once the missing textures/cubemaps eye strain is dealt with.

Thanks for making this campaign!

Thanks a lot for the review! All the feedback is great and glad to hear you enjoy it. I'll consider some of the things you've mentioned.

About the issues you are having with the metal props. I think it's related to your shader settings. Could you try changing them and see if it makes a difference?
I've had a hard time replicating the issue.
