Stats suggestion thread
my take: i want to make a utility pistol that is weaker in combat, but stronger in supporting your buildings

:) shoot your building to increase it's efficiency (sentries fire 25% faster, dispensers heal 2x faster, teleporters recharge 2x gaster)
:/ efficiency increases only when constantly shooting
:( -30% firing speed
:( -50% reload speed


Before commenting, remember the rules of good stat ideas:
- no more than 5 stats
- design the stats around the weapon's look and name
- try to imagine a playstyle where the weapon could be used
- no random chances
- no "uM acTuAlly tHiS shOuLd bE jUsT a rESkiN"

I know valve probably won't add new weapons, but this is a stat thread, not a reskin thread.

Actually, valve probably isn't going to add new reskins either just beacuse they weren't mentioned on that one blog post

I was just playing with you. Here's an actual stats:
+ Does not require ammo
+ Projectile cannot be deflected
+48% damage versus enemy buildings
+ Gain 3 revenge crits for each sentry kill and
+ 1 for each dispenser kill
+15% faster firing speed
+ On Hit: Enemy Engineers lose up to -50% metal
- On Miss: Lose up to -96% metal. Idiot.
- On Hit: Friendly Engineers lose up to -999% metal. Idiot boy.
-15% damage penalty against bodyshots
- +180% fire damage vulnerability on wearer
- +50% missile damage vulnerability on wearer
- Revenge crits are lost on death

Level -20 Toy gun


+ On hit: ignites enemy.
+ 50% fire damage resistance when active.
+ Crits whenever it would normally mini-crit.
= Secondary fire is a charged shot that:
  • + Penetrate players and damage enemies behind them.
  • + Deal 50% More damage
  • - cost 50 Metal
- Per Shot: –5 metal.
