GIMMICK:
- Omega's main gimmick is his charge stacks, obtained via either landing burst in neutral, hutting burst cancel, parrying attacks, or using the defensive option named Recover: Charge.
- Charge allows Omega to use alternate variants of attacks, or just fire projectiles from some attacks when turning off hit free cancels.
- None of the projectiles are parriable EXCEPT the sawblade from Attack: Heavy, which can be parried if it's active for long enough.
- Charge gives Omega stronger supers as well, like different projectile patterns on Hyper: Kai, or more damage from Hyper: Ranbu.
- Omega can have up to 3 stacks before entering Overdrive statez which grants unlimited charge stacks unless either Omega uses a super, or doesn't use Charge again for a specific amount of time.
SPECIAL PROPERTIES:
- Omega's HP will change in relation to his max HP, which if managed properly, can effectively grant you 16k max HP, compared to the 15k a normal character has. (1.6k, and 1.5k for code accurate. Ivysly likes adding an extra 0 to everything for added flavor)
- Omega starts with less HP than the standard character, at only around 12k. (1.2k for code accurate)
- If Omega's Overdrive is deactivated, your max HP will be set to a lower number.
COUNTERPLAY:
- Omega is a very strong generalist with tools like far slash being projectile immune for a good chunk of its duration, and his vast supply of projectiles. He is however, extremely prone to sadness if he decided to back up and gather charge. While he is a rushdown, he also does not like being in close quarters without charge, due to his lack of good blockstun options without the resource.
- If Omega has charge, he will likely want to approach. Let them waste charge and approach them if you feel like they want to back up for charge.
- Pub Omegas dont generally know this, so none of this portion really matters.
