Q & A
first of all i just want to clarify the difference between a resource/texture pack and the usual mods that you see. if you're familiar with minecraft this is just like the ones from there, there's no coding. so you don't have to worry about your saves getting corrupted or your game crashing (you can always do a backup though, it's an in-game feature, you don't even have to mess with folders), even if this notification [imgur.com] is shown. that would happen with a mod that adds objects or tiles for example.

I noticed that some cosmetic sets aren't aligned with with body - walking animations was either out-of-sync (cosmetic foot shown in front of flesh foot), offset (shoe slot slightly higher then body), or both.

1 - that's because those are yet to be remade, the sets that looks broken are the original ones. they look that way because the player sprites/animations are brand new. what you can do for now is equipping something else in the cosmetic slot to override it.
-> these <- [imgur.com] are the ones i've remade so far.

so theres no player beard cosmetic?

2 - unfortunately, no, this is just a resource pack so there's no new content addition. buuuut i plan to make a mod with cool new hairstyles and beards (i don't wanna promise anything tho).

this is a lifesaver! i love this mod! maybe some compats for other mods could be done eventually?

3 - that was my idea when i started doing this mod, but the majority of the stuff that i plan ends up not being done at all. what you're asking for has a lesser probability of happening because i think i would prioritize this mod and stuff like doing new furniture, tiles, hairstyles, etc. but you never know though, it could be the next thing i'm doing. and i'm glad that you liked it :8bitheart:.

got an error "Did not contain a @ModEntry annotation". I checked with a decompiler and it IS there, any idea how this happened? I really like how it looks but the game crashes on launch when it's enabled :(

i dunno to be honest, but in case you can't troubleshoot and fix the issue just use the mod as a "res folder".
take the "resources" folder from my mod's jar and rename it to just "res", then put it in the necesse's root folder. it will load everytime you launch the game and that's how i made the mod. building a jar for every addition or change would be hella unpractical and straight up insane.
the ammount of times i had to restart the game just cuz of teeny-tiny color tweakings... oh boy, don't even get me started.

It's not perfect but this'll work until I figure out the root cause. Now I can enjoy the game with these beautiful textures, tysm!
