i dunno to be honest, but in case you can't troubleshoot and fix the issue just use the mod as a "res folder".
take the "resources" folder from my mod's jar and rename it to just "res", then put it in the necesse's root folder. it will load everytime you launch the game and that's how i made the mod. building a jar for every addition or change would be hella unpractical and straight up insane.
the ammount of times i had to restart the game just cuz of teeny-tiny color tweakings... oh boy, don't even get me started.

It's not perfect but this'll work until I figure out the root cause. Now I can enjoy the game with these beautiful textures, tysm!
