Naturally, there have been bots that, intentionally or not, that try to force themselves on to BLU, get placed back onto RED, and repeat ad infintum. This results in a lot of "*Player* has been automatically assigned to BLU team" messages in chat. I can't say this is what it's like for everyone, but I personally got kicked out of a game because of "message/console overflow" and I'm pretty sure I even crashed once because of it.
I'm uncertain if these bots were made SPECIFICALLY for VSH, but one defining characteristic is that they have very simple names, like "me", "is", "if", and so on.
I don't have footage or proof of this (I can provide some if needed), but you can probably join a VSH casual match and see it in action. I hope this gets fixed soon.
Thank you.
This is a known issue and IIRC think this will be fixed in an update to the gamemode this summer, though I am not certain. As for the bots, the consensus is that they have been made specifically for VSH and there is nothing the gamemode creator can do about that, though in practice only bots consistently perform the exploit, so I recommend trying to find a community server running the official maps as they tend to have better anti-cheat.
Question: Why isn't there any kind of scoring for players in the match tab, like there was in the old VSH?
Suggestion: Give some kind of scoring (visible in the tab) to the players, I think it would encourage the players to go after Hale more and also keep them more engaged in the game. It can be something simple, just like in the old VSH, where players earned one point for every 500 damage. Additionally, showing the top 3 MVPs at the end also gave players greater incentive to improve.
Thanks for the info Sir.
