I can just imagine all the cool cosmetic loadouts being made already
Now that one especially convinced me.
Ahh! I see you are a man of culture aswell!
I though it looks a bit too modern, as Half Life has a 90's sci fi style, but a comment pointed out that the gas masks used by the HECU was actually made in 1959, and tf2 is set in the 70's if I remember correctly. So that alone seem to justifie it. And not gonna lie, I really want this to be in the gameX)
We need more Half Life refrences anyways as this is a Valve game.
At first I thought it was an m40 gas mask but luckily I was wrong. It is the m17 gas mask which was created in 1959 and was in service in the 70s so everything fits well.
Also the gas mask looks dope as hell and I feel like MY ASS IS HEAVY.
Obviously it's unfitting to add content that's too modern-day or contemporary for TF2, but I think there's creative liberties to be made with some items, as long as they're stylised well enough to fit in the TF2 universe. This gasmask, which is one people've pointed out is a style of gasmask that's been around since the late 1950s, is totally fine.
Yeah, you're right.
