Hi! now, this might be on addons i am using but i am getting these messages in the console

this mostly happens to enemies in groups. individual enemies just die normally.

the enemies shot 'dead' appear to freeze in place instead of dying they are in some kind of idle animation and still look at the player if the player gets close to them. the game also crashes sometimes probably because of this? . i do see it says squad member count something so i think i should also mention i am using this squad mod here https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2814425994&searchtext=ai+squad

i did some testing and after disabling that squad mod this issue does not appear to happen anymore so this is most likely a compatability issue of some kind.

no idea if this is helpful at all but i figured that there is no harm in reporting this

This happens because addon sets squad for grunts for them to cry for help when there is no more squad members left, Dynamic NPC Squads, apparently, replaces their squad :missing:
not sure if i can do something about this without removing "I'm the last in the squad!" feature from grunts

I don't know why it does this for VJ Base NPCs, as far as i know they don't use squads in the same way as combine soldiers do unless you code it yourself

I will fix "Failed to load sound" error, thx!
