Have you thought about adding that same type of rust/grime/degration to vehicles - both vanilla and from most popular mods. So my question, or rather... wish would be that maybe if you got more spare time you could look into that as well.
I've considered doing a vehicle retexture and people seem to be wanting one. So, I'm certainly looking into it for when I've got spare time. I'll keep you all posted.
Also keep up the awesome work!
Hey Crashdown, thanks for the support! I would love to look into making additional visuals. I’d actually like to make many additional cosmetics like this to boost variation in the world, but it’s currently limited. I’m teaching myself some basic lua in hopes of using it to get more variables in world objects. There’s no eta on this though, it’s on the back-burner for now while I tidy up the current mod and work on vehicles.
edit: I play with the "last minute prepper" bunker mod... so there is already furniture in the bunker which I don't really wanna change
Hey Pescadomi,
Currently the only overlays that can be cleaned are the walls and the floor, however I have been looking into possibly scripting an overlay for everything else. I am hoping to start testing in a few weeks or so as I've got a lot going on right now. But this is certainly a need I'd like to see fulfilled.
amazing! thank you for your work! take care <3
Hi La__Fonzi,
This has been mentioned before and I was actually aware of it before releasing the mod. The issue is actually part of the default game but my grime tiles make it very noticeable. Some of the garage doors are set to receive wall overlays in the default code. I'm assuming earlier designs of the garage door were literally just wall tiles painted to look like garages which switched to transparent when opened. Its not something I can fix. Spoon shared an excellent example of the overlays showing on an open garage, which was the same garage I noticed it on as well.
I do want to share a contrast so that people can better understand what I mean: https://imgur.com/a/6Zk5nMx
The opacity of my grime makes it considerably more apparent.
Thank you for your feedback and I appreciate your input.
