How to Remove "Explosion.LUA"
This is going to be a guide on how to Remove "Explosion.LUA" from the game files and be able to get the mod to actually function.

First you need to go to your steam library and right click on Teardown.
Then you need click on "manage."
Then click "Browse local files."
Now you need to click on the file named "data" and open it.
Now you need to find the file named "script." and open that as well.
lastly you need to find the .LUA file named "explosion" and move it to your desktop or somewhere safe in case you don't like this mod and/or want to return to vanilla explosions by simply putting the .LUA file back in its original place.
Once Explosion.LUA is removed and out of the game files and the mod is enabled you should be able to load up Teardown with the new fancy explosions.
If you want to use this mod in the campaign then you'll have to replace the main lua script with this mod.
If you are still having problems with getting the mod to work or similar questions please ask so that I can try and help you or make this mod better. Every suggestion/question helps!

@richard I'm sorry but there is no way to currently mod\replace built in particle effects in the game without changing the files manually, if I could make this easier, I would. That's what this guide is for, because I know everyone doesn't know how to dig into the games code and rip some files out for a simple mod. If you have questions please consult me.

Only when you re-install the game or download an update. Verifying the files also does that. Otherwise the file will stay removed.
