For everyone who can't load the gun even when they have ammo, here's the solution!
I found this lost in the comments section. I'm making this discussion only for the solution to be in a visible place.
If you can't reload the gun, even after grabbing ammo from Entities > Colt Paterson, you must shoot any other gun, then switch back to the texas paterson and then, you should be able to reload. If you look closely at the (vanilla, dunno about anything else) ammo HUD, it should blink red for a second after you switch back to it.
This worked for me, i hope it works for everyone else who seems to be having problems.

As late as this reply is, I will look into it. I'm also considering on updating the swep again since the code is very deprecated

uhhh i look up the firing and reloading of this gun and well nothing is perfect


(you might of did this so you dont have to worry about animation time.)

I cant pick up ammo, when I press e on the ammo box it disappears and plays the little click sound but it doesn't give any ammo

i think i figured it out i disabled all my addons and enabled the revolver addon only it worked purfectly i just need to figure out what addon it is
