Gotcha, should be an easy fix, thanks for the heads up.

edit:It's fixed on my end, will be in the next update I push, sometime later today most likely.

Change to primogeniture no longer work as the game periodically check the era of the culture and remove the law if the era does not match.

To my knowledge this could be fixed by changing the "can_keep" in laws into "always=yes"

It's working as intended as far as I can tell. Started a new game, changed the law, it stuck. When are you losing it? The way it works now, the cheat gives you the innovation that is required for primogeniture, so it shouldn't revert the change.

I am losing it every around 15th each month.
If one looks into "00_succession_laws.txt" one can see that under for instance "single_heir_succession_law", there is "can_keep={...}";

The info in "can_keep" limits if the law can be kept. Especially, I believe "can_keep_single_heir_succession_law_trigger" is a new trigger added after 1.7.
As my character was feudal independent, I believe the issue comes with this trigger.

This trigger is located in "00_laws_triggers.txt" under "scripted_triggers", I could not see why this it actually breaks it by reading said document as it really only required the government is feudal or clan, and the innovation is activated.

I tried to add a self-made mod that replace everything in "can_keep" into "always=yes" and fixed the issue. So I am at least confident that the issue is caused by what is going on in "can_keep".

I'm never losing it, are you using any other mods? Does this happen with every nation you're playing as, or specific ones?

Maybe? But it's odd that you changing that vanilla file would fix the problem.
