Doesn't look expensive that much for me. Sure it got high fire rate but remember, it can also eats ammo pretty fast. Adding mags recipe into munition bench will be a lot more convenient than going to colonized planets to resupply there.
My project intention included 'the trouble of visiting the Colony planet' in the cost.
In the second half of the game, I thought that simply increasing gunpowder consumption could not increase the risk because it was generally full of resources. So I tried to control the risk with a cumbersome purchase method, but it's just annoying. The original-purpose risk has not been achieved. So this time I'm going to add some hard-to-get goods (such as electronic components) to the manufacture of ammunition.
Of course, you'll still be able to buy a magazine from a gunstore. Now the player will have to choose between a little hassle and a high cost.
the difference between AR, MG, and SAW are simple, AR has the best overall accuracy, can attach scope, barrel, underbarrels on it, MG is the same but with larger magazine and longer range, accuracy is worse while standing and better while crouching, SAW has the worst accuracy, by worst, i mean it cannot gain accuracy bonus from crouching or attach any scopes, however, the buff in movement speed and RoF can let u easily reach point blank and do tons of damage.
this is just an idea, if u think it is too much, take ur time.
