So I recently found and played this mod, I wanted to post my view on it and reason why I do it in here is in Title, sorry for disturbance in tab. Arlight so lets begin with UI and GUI which is great. When I saw a custom main menu I knew a lot of work was put into it, and the fact that it changes colour depending on choosen perspective is very nice detail. Speaking of perspective, I really like this idea, it's very original and unique as it allows us replay the same nation but with diffrent events and reaction to world news. another thing is performance, which was surprisingly good, I expected it to be way worse but it allowed for rather smooth game even during balkanization of russia and america. Moving to playing itself, I found that the mod also throws a lot of lore and events at player, It was rather manageable. It took some time to read the lore in starting GUI but after that I didn't feelt overwhelmed by flood of events (well maybe besides news events about american collapse) which is a good sign. But since mod leans into narrative, the problem of scuffed wrriting comes in place, which frankly I don't know how to judge here. We are talking about mod where people literally decided that 1984 had good political ideas in it, and so far I only played as anarchists where scuffines is understandable so I will have to give one more shoot to reach the verdict. Surprisingly mod doesn't introduces any kind of special mechanics as far as I know, meaning that besides events, and new technologies the gameplay largely stays true to vanilla, well minus being surrounded by enemies on all sides. Overally I consider Extremis Ultimis to be very promising mod, with very fun nation and ideologies to play with and ballanced approach beetwen gameplay and narrative. As long as there isn't some kind of controversy (and if you fix the game crash which happens in after ACW starts) I imagine the mod to be very enjoyable in future. Good luck with it
