Backpack in Backpack wont accept items - Possible Bug?
Edit: Wrong word
When I place a backpack on the ground I can add items to it easily, but if I have it in my inventory I cannot. On the ground it opens the backpack inventory and keeps going from there. But in my backpack it does nothing.

Yes I restarted since you updated. Sorry for sending another one so soon after ^^"

Not seeing any issues myself. Any specifics you can add?

Thats pretty much it. I figured at first it was an issue with weight but that didnt seem to be it.

Ill restart again cause I need to enable that other mod you mentioned in the front page chat anyhow so Ill test after that again. Maybe its just a conflict with the render mod. Would be odd tho since it doesnt alter backpacks directly.

Either it was somehow in some weird universe a conflict (which should be impossible as the mod doesnt touch backpacks) or it was actually weight.

Weight sounds more plausible to me. I take it tried to add a placeholder before adding the item to the backpack. Said placeholder would then be of the same weight meaning you cannot move it over cause there technically is no space in the backpack.

Actually that being said, I just remembered. Even with the backpack open it wasnt possible in the inventory. Not sure why but somehow full weight has to be the problem here.

Ah just found another one.

2x2s really dont like being moved into backpacks in inventories for some odd reason. Everything below seems to work. Couldnt test a 1x3 or bigger, havent found such.

And in addition I cannot open a backpack of any kind in a "strangers" inventory. As in if I have it in a cabinet. I need to put it on the ground or into my own inventory.

The actual moving into backpack of items also does not work in "stranger" inventories, only my own.

Yup, everything in 1x rows works but 2x does not

Tested a 1x3, 1x4 Edit: Nvm that was 2 1x4s

3x4 also did not wanna be moved into it

I don't know, will have to check tomorrow.

Random thoughts:
Its not a plastic/garbage bag is it? As they change size.
Do you use search mode? I just did a hotfix for a bug that made unsearched items invisible.

Nope its a regular Backpack. Unless you mean the item to put in. If they ever changed sizes, I havent noticed it so far. And the items I wanted to move are all 100% vanilla.

I do use searchmode but all containers I attempted it with were searched already and items were discovered already. But if that caused part of it, I probably had the issue before but that does not apply now.

I found that if the item you are trying to add goes over the parent container weight cap, you cannot add it by dragging the item over the icon, but if you open a popup, you can keep adding items until you reach the (sub) container weight cap.

How do you open a popup?
