Your suggestion I feel would take far too much work to change a system that is already technically present.
Furniture system works for placing any items? For all I know it works only on radios/furniture. Zomboid's UI is unwieldy as it always was, has unnecessary steps in all you do, and that ♥♥♥♥ adds up on longer playthroughs. Anything that streamlines it is vital help, can't even say how glad I was about using one small mod that moved items you moused over with just 1 push of a button (can't quite recall its name, but it was golden). I'd let the man decide if he feels up for it.
Yea, SpiffUI radials, they're nice, still they could be better - I'd love the radials to be fired on exact item with a press of a button, with Spiff you have to click through menus.
