Report a translation problem
- Baby Hornet
- Increased Damage Reduction to 4% from 3%
- Increased Crit Reduction to 4% from 3%
- Increased Defense reduction to 4 from 3
- Increased Movement Speed Boost to 4% from 3%
- Removed 5% Health heal upon being afflicted with poison/venom
- New: Spawning bees now has a 1.5 second cooldown.

Its lifesteal seems fine with negative damage multiplier, but healing with Plantera weapons its currently absurd, so pulling it back a little bit.

- Reduced Plantera Weapon lifesteal to 3.5% from 6%
For 1 Light Pet, its slightly too much damage stacked on top.
- Wisp In a Bottle
- Reduced Magic and Ranged damage per roll to 0.4% from 0.45% (Max is now 12%, was 13% before)
Same as Wisp. Except this one has Attack Speed aswell so that puts it even stronger.
- Creeper Egg
- Reduced Melee and Summoner damage per roll to 0.4% from 0.5%. (Max is now 10.4%, was 12% before)
Pet should make it feel like Pumpkin Moon weapons perform well, but shouldn't be too good to the point where it basically 'forces you' to use them. Nerfing direct Pumpkin Moon buffs a bit.
- Cursed Sapling
- Reduced Raven Staff damage bonus to 17.5% from 25%
- Reduced Dark Harvest multiplier on whip bonuses to 2x from 4x
- Increased Whip Speed per Max Minion to 0.07 from 0.0625
I personally think the strength of Mini Minotaur is fine, with it slowing the Player down alongside its buffs, however, it shouldn't be this forgiving and should be a bit more difficult to maintain the stacks.

- Reduced out of combat tag removal duration to 5 seconds from 10. (You will start losing stacks after 5 seconds of not damaging.)
It does provide quite high attack speed, despite having less size, in my opinion its not enough of a drawback for this much damage output, considering Pet is obtainable Pre-any boss.
- Fennec Fox
- Reduced melee attack speed boost to 13% from 18%
Pulling back individual strength of Baby Werewolf a bit, as it on its own allows you to straight up deal way more damage, considering it helps other Players damage aswell.

- Increased Crit Damage penalty to 35% from 30%
As stacking movement speed on its own isn't a 'bad strategy' anyways, Volt Bunny rewards it even more. Reducing its scalings a bit and to not overnerf it compensating with some flat boost.

- Reduced Movement speed multiplier to 1.05 from 1.08x
- Increased flat movement speed buff to 10% from 5%
Rapidly hitting weapons could provide far too much value with the lifesteal, close range lifesteal now uses same cooldown as % health damage.
- The Twins
- Close Range lifesteal now has 0.8 second cooldown to be re-applied (applying Cursed Flames still doesn't use cooldown)
Especially now that stat boosts work with Calamities shield aswell, its Defense boost is a lot, to the point why would you use Deactivated Probe (Destroyer) Pet for combat.
- Skeletron Prime
- Reduced Defense multiplier while a shield is active to 1.08 from 1.11x
Had too much scaling health for a Light Pet. Health regen is back to 0, as -1 is intuitively a bit odd.
- Toy Golem
- Reduced % health increase to 0.18 from 0.25% per roll, and flat increase to 2.2% from 2.5% (its now 8.5% maximum health at max, from 11.25%)
- Increased base health regen to 0 from -1.
Pulling power from 'straight up damage' to make its missing mana recovery more rewarding.
- Everscream Sapling
- Reduced damage boost at max mana to 30% from 40%.
- Increased missing mana recovery % to 16% from 12%.
I don't remember ever going over a big 'balance change' patch and not nerfing Alien Skater (and Twins. and Eye Spring.) that patch. Not too much to say, Pet provides far too much mobility solely on its own.

- Reduced regular acceleration increase to 50% from 60%
- Reduced flat Horizontal Wing Speed and Acceleration increase to 40% from 55%
- Reduced Horizontal Wing Speed multiplier to 1.2x from 1.3x
- Reduced Horizontal Wing Acceleration multiplier to 1.35x from 1.5x
Buff is applied too long.
- Itsy Betsy
- Reduced buff duration to 12 second from 20.
The slow allows it to crowd control ridiculously good, and I'd like Pet to have this identity of litteraly freezing enemies inside its radius, but it overshadows all other 'slow' pets, so pulling it back a little.
- Baby Grinch
- Reduced slow to 90% from 100%.
With Frost Armor, touching an enemy currently puts them into coma. 15 seconds of 125% slow is TOO MUCH for a Hardmode Pre-Boss Pet. But at the same time, its slow power is too weak without Frost Armor. Also now ALL Projectiles & weapons will 'light up' like how Frost Armor does, INCLUDING minions etc. Very satisfying.
- Baby Snowman
- Reduced value multipliers when full Frost Armor is worn to 3x from 5x
- Increased Slow to 30% from 25%
- QOL: Now ALL damaging Projectiles and Melee items emit Frostburn particles as long as Pet is used.
- QOL: Now doesn't check for Frost Armor, but rather the set bonus effect. If Set Bonus of Frost Armor is applied by another source; it activates the multiplier.
- QOL(?): Now is classified as Utility class secondary.
Considering Mods that exists (especially now with Calamity Addon) that adds content past Moon Lord, its stats can be a bit lighter, so Player won't experience a insane spike in their power after obtaining this Pet. While still keeping its identity of course.
- Moonling
- Reduced Melee Damage Reduction to 10% from 15%
- Reduced Melee Damage to 15% from 20%
- Reduced Ranged Damage to 10% from 15%
- Reduced Magic Damage to 15% from 20%
- Reduced Max Sentries to 2 from 3
- Reduced Whip Range bonus to 45% from 50%
Too much Attack Speed provided by just 1 Light Pet.
- Pumpkin Scented Candle
- Reduced Attack Speed Per roll to 0.25% from 0.3% (Is now 11.5% attack speed, was 13%)
Had Too much Raw DPS with Fireballs, especially considering it applies Daybreak. Pulling it back slightly to be more inline with others.
- Phantasmal Dragon
- Reduced Base Damage per Fireball to 170 from 200.
> Now that Wisp affects ALL Pet damage, this makes it strong with Calamity Addon. Although I don't want to balance 'base mod' based on Calamity Addon, I think this is a fair nerf as it does have wider range of use overall.
- Wisp In a Bottle
- Reduced Pet sourced Damage boost to 6.75% + 0.65% Per Quality from 7.5% + 0.8% Per Quality (Was 27.5% max, now its 23%)
> I am hoping this is last time nerfing this Pet, it still gives far too much horizontal flight speed.
- Alien Skater
- Reduced flat Horizontal Flight Speed & Acceleration bonus to 20% from 40%.
> Far too much mobility capability from just 1 Light Pet, due to this I am nerfing a bit harsh. I still believe after these nerfs Pet will still perform just fine regarding mobility.
- Jewel of Light
- Reduced Movement Speed per Quality to 1% from 1.5% (Was 19% max, now its 15%)
- Reduced Wing time per quality to 4 frames from 6 frames (Was 2 seconds max, now its 1.5 seconds)
> Since with latest changes removing the unintended Crimson Armor effect that existed in Baby Face Monster's code, it seems to not be able to heal as much. Increasing its individual regen values.
- Baby Face Monster
- Increased Stage 1 Regen to 4 from 3 (2 per second from 1.5)
- Increased Stage 2 Regen to 15 from 9 (7.5 per second from 4.5)
> Increased the amount stats Baby Mushroom increases even more, mostly stuff that leans into utility and all. Other than utility, other notable stats should be Life Regen related ones and Percent Armor Pen. I am hoping this doesn't result in Pet being broken but we'll see. Due to there being far too many stats, (and to balance out newly added stats) moving Movement Speed to being 4% alongside all other stats. Also now which stats it buffs can be hidden/shown in tooltip with tooltip swap keybind.
- Baby Truffle
- Now also increases following stats by 4%/+4: Life Regen, Natural Life Regen Acceleration, Percent Armor Penetration, Weapon Size, Breath duration, Pet Damage Multiplier, Mining Speed, Ammo Reservation Chance, Lava Resistance, Tile Placement Speed and Wall Placement speed.
- Reduced Movement Speed to 4% from 20%
- Tooltip's list of stats that are increased is now toggleable.
- Removed 'Mobility Pet' class.
> I love how the Pet is, since I've managed to get it to work. However one biggest problem is this Pet has an insanely big competitor; Veinminer Mod. I do not want to balance the Pet's effect around another Mod's existence, but due to the said Mod's existence, as far as I see Pet is almost never used, even though in practice, its a very good Pet and comparing to vanilla, its effect does not need a buff at all. But considering this is an always modded space, that isn't the case. Due to that giving it a buff, hoping it can be checked out more. Also making its mining speed boost for non ores work multiplicatively, since if another source reduced it too, it would cause unintentionally high mining speeds.

- Increased chance to break another nearby ore of same type to 125% from 75%.
- Increased radius to be able to break another nearby ore of same type to 3x3 blocks from 2x2.
- Mining Speed boost for non-ores is now multiplicative rather than additive.
> As far as I see, Dirtiest Block is a bit good on Dirt spesifically. So pulling dirt coin gain back slightly.

- Reduced coin gain per dirt gathered to 8.5 copper from 9.
> Junimo can be obtained right after any boss has been defeated. If Player is sweaty, they can get themselves a Pet with 11% damage reduction, 12.5% damage increase and +75 maximum health before killing another boss. Adding Caps to maximum levels possible before certain bosses to limit this. Note: You won't lose any exp.

- Base Maximum level cap is now level 25, increased by +5 after following bosses have been killed: Eater of Worlds or Brain of Cthulhu, Wall of Flesh, Any Mech bosses, Plantera and Lunatic Cultist.
> Skeletron Jr. is a very consistent Pet, and isn't too hard to be obtained, hence why its popular. One 'op' ness it had was it would not reset regen timer upon getting hit, making it a fairly strong defensive Pet before. Now that its implemented, I don't see the bonus damage taken is fit here.

- Reduced taken damage multiplier to 1x from 1.02x.
> Spider Brain has been, probably one of the most popular Pets of the entire mod, I've observed constant use of this Pet, main reason being: The pet was not weak enough while being actively in combat, due to that Pet always got nerfed. Pets design aims to make it so you can have pretty bad lifesteal while consistently damaging, but a very good one if you are going to only hit time to time. Now In Combat Timer has been implemented, usage of this mechanic is pretty fitting with Pets design in my opinion.
- Spider Brain
- Increased base cooldown to gain +1 health to 3 seconds from 2 seconds.
- New: While out of combat (for 5 seconds) gaining +1 health timer gets reduced down to 1.5 seconds.
> Even though a tiny nerf, for a Pre-Hardmode Pet obtainable Pre-Any-Boss, even with the movement speed nerf, giving 11% Defense is a lot.
- Turtle
- Reduced % defense increase to 10% from 11%.
