I’ve seen a lot of people mention trouble with playing with their friends. I.e.. You both load forever, and someone is booted and the host is allowed in.

And after having this issue myself before a few times I can safely say that is most likely due to the map not being updated by steam for you or your friends (Shout-out ChickenHatMan for still updating this beautiful map!) Here’s how to make sure you get the most recent update..

• Completely exit out of steam. Close it, and open up the small tray in the bottom right on Windows, and if you see the Steam logo. Make sure to exit it from there to fully close it.

• Open up Steam again, and from here, wait between a few to several minutes for Steam to validate BO3 and make sure everything is up to date.

• If you, and your friends have done this and there has been no update or validation. There may be a different way to force it or have it register faster. But I’m unaware of how to. Besides validating files, and that can take ages.. And if this doesn’t fix it. Then I’d recommend reinstalling the map, validating files, etc.. Otherwise I’m not too sure. But this worked for me.
