Starlight River
[bug] cant place / throw torches / glowsticks from auto select
confirmed that theres a bug with placing / throwing torches / glowsticks with starlight river
doesnt happen on terraria or modless tmodloader

to reproduce
put the torches or glowsticks in your inventory but not in the hotbar
hold shift and try to place a torch
or try to throw a glowstick

if this is a "feature"
can it be an option?

Check your keybindings, Starlight has one that defaults to left shift, but shouldn't be bound automatically.

I also can't place torches unless they're on my hotbar. I made sure the Starlight keybinds weren't using left shift...

this is also affecting pickaxes and tools; if it's not on the hotbar, you'll switch to an arbitrary slot on your hotbar.

there's a weird work-around for this: things work fine if you have your inventory open. no idea what could be causing this but ive never had this problem until today when i booted up the mod.

I have the exact same problem. Assigning a hotkey to a command that uses shift did not help.
I like this mod very much, but it is not convenient to keep all the tools and torches on the quick action panel.

Same. Even when its unbound it still acts weirdly.

what s this help me

If "Forbidden Winds" is "Unbound", it'll break the torch Left-Shift auto-select.
Wasted too many hours trying to figure out which mod in my new list was messing up -___-

Bind it to something silly and unused to fix it.
