This is a new system added to allow player to get their own Alpha Dinos.


Requirements: Tame a dino that has Alpha variant. Unlock Tek Bio Mutator.

Process: First craft the new structure Tek Bio Mutator. Once crafted and placed, put an empty Cryopod in its inventory. Through its Radial Menu scan the creatures in the area for dinos that can be cloned (only creatures with Alpha variant). Choose the creature you want and start the cloning process, the structure will display above itself the time remaining until it is finished (between 2-5 hours). Once finished, just pick up the Cryopod from its inventory and release the creature, it will be an Alpha cloned from the scanned creature earlier. But be aware that any cloned creature will be a baby.


It is the new structure added to the mod. Must be unlocked by defeating any wild Alpha creature. Can be crafted in both Fabricator or Tek Replicator. Can be powered by both Generator or Tek Generator.


- All Alpha creatures have higher HP and Damage.
- All Alpha creatures becomes faster (matching his new Alpha size, like Alpha Rex is 1.3x the size of Normal Rex, so he will be 1.3x faster too).
- Some Alphas will have unique Abilities.
- All creatures variants can be Alpha, like an Alpha Tek Rek.


- An Alpha creature will have some special features between them. His size will be larger, his name (obviously) will have Alpha in it and his dino icon will be Red instead Blue.
- Alphas are able to breed, but their offspring will always be wild.
