Weird Sound Device Thing
In the area with the dark room, inside one of the tunnels is a room that needs the OmniCutter to open it, and inside is a room with a bunch of the weird meat and a broken, somewhat maroon like colored sound device. Does this have any use? It counts as a key item, but I couldn't find any use for it.

the yellow device boxes you see around the facility (and one in that room) are somekind of communication devices that react to the item. from what i found red are corrupted/error recordings
yellow is music, green are messages that need decoding

And you need to use SSTV to decode them
