After all, Air magic has always been a part of the Age of Wonder series, and I feel the fact it only is covered by one tome pretty lacking.
My current release plans are thus:
Slaanesh chaos/dark tome: focusing on flanking, haste, crit buffs, and damaging your own units for some effects.
Nurgle, chaos/nature, want it to synergize with the blight tome mod.
Tier 2 generic chaos mod, possibly a tier 4 as well.
Tomes of the magewright: materium/astral focus tomes focused on combining elementals, some artifice/mad science, and mana burn, inspired by the izzet from M:tG. This mod is planned to be very large and my most extensive one yet, it'll be worked on in the background.
Tomes of the desert: Materium/Order tome or two focused on desert provinces, as a counter to my swamp tomes, with some egyptian sun god style thrown in.
Possibly a vampire tome? I think some other modders might be working on one.
Lycantrope Tome
Vampire Tome
Pirate Tome
Spirit/Haunt Tome
Eldritch Theme Tome
Maybe also some Fire Necromancy Tome - Tome of Cinder (inspired by Dark Souls)?
*** Tome of Ivory Towers (order/dark, or order/materium):
- Inspired on VtM's 'Camarilla' faction, this focuses on structure and regulations, law and order. A tome that specifically bolsters cities and heroes (dragons with new expansion?) rather than unit-types. Stability increase, new city defence upgrades, etc...
- If needing to be added: physical/spirit damage, defence focused units or tower units and pacifying/demoralising/immobilising spells. No soul resource focus. This could mesh well with your Death Knight tome.
*** Tome of the Sabbat (chaos/dark, or chaos/astral):
- Inspired on VtM's 'Sabbath' faction, this focuses on suicide units (shovelheads), dog-eat-dog culture, dark rituals and traditions. As a 'shadow church', they are oddly structured for an anarchistically vibed faction, and revel in their myriad of vampiric powers with less restraint than the Camarilla.
- If needing to be added: physical damage and bleeding, damage/damage vs bleeding/speed buffs, demoralising/explosive spells and city destabilising (riots) effects. If possible, focus on suicide units? No soul resource. Would likely work well with your Blood God tome.
*** Tome of the Tyrannis (nature/chaos, or nature/dark):
A personally loved concept is that of the spider, and spider queen. Spider-theme aside (of which there is a tome already on the workshop), it is an odd contradiction of controlling/tyranising a chaotic mass of spiders. Combining this with fog/swamp-themed mysicism for infiltration, crowd control (web-weavers and poisonous spiders), city sabotage or defence (burrowing), raw damage (hunting spiders) and there's easily a versatile tome to be crafted by bringing out spider characteristics.
*** Tome of Immortality (astral/order or astral/dark):
Looking at celestial divinity (saints/gods) and at Lichdom/Vampires (and any other form, really), this tome would focus on spiritual and physical defence, ressurrection after battle and other means to persevere in and after combat.
*** Tome of the Kitsune (astral, astral+chaos or astral+nature)
Inspired by Asian mythology (not just the Japanese one), mixing its typical illusion/trickery/seduction with some of its power and brutality, could offer ways to crit builds (for animals?), world map slows and enemy city debuffs.
That said, perhaps I should look into commissioning as well. Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to your Slaanesh and Desert Tomes :)
If you are interested in commissioning I'm just timber on discord.
Too many good ideas, too little time!
