increase the range maybe, and leave the suggestion for people to disable for zombies attack random structures, because after a certain time they will stop following

An idea, but I do not know the viability of it as far as Zomboid modding goes;

This only works with a few zeds, like a special type that has maybe 2 in every group of 10 or 5. That way, one sees and only the ones like it follow. Maybe have there be a very small visible difference for the keen-eyed. It would make it easier and a little more flavorful than every zombie in game doing it.

Really want to see an option for hive mind to only activate during day. Would make night stealth much more effective combined with Definitive Zombies mod.
'What if' when you kill one of the lone zeds who have spotted you, the rest of the further away hive "forget" which way to go, therefore making your response timing a more crucial factor rather than the player being punished by having to completely forfeit their original position in settings where the hive range is set to high.

It'll play a lot into the survival strategy of having awareness and offer a small redeeming factor to those who can react fast enough to those lone hivers. Think of it as turning off the GPS on the zombies when they were midway through following it with no idea where to go.

Needs clarification on when 'night' is for the mod as I can't find this info here or in comments, I did see someone ask but no response
