Not sure how easy it would be but possibly add a feature to hide in trunk's I figured it would be a good addition that isn't super crazy and it wouldn't need the black screen you can just watch from inside as if it were "slightly opened" and you were looking out.

Greeting, maybe a pseudo - animation so is far more pleasure to the sight than just watching the character removing stuff in the air
Sup, I've been thinking about sudden noises that character could make depending on how long he's been hiding. Of exaustion or boredom for example.
If you could just make the vision limited instead of just having no vison that'd be nice. like make closets and wardrobes have a small crack you can sorta see

What about copying over some code from the foraging/search mechanic, the one that causes most of your screen to become grey except for a small circle centered on the player?

So long as your character isn't deaf, you'd still hear zombies and players walking around a short distance from your hiding spot. You spent some time trying to make this realistic, but that complete darkness feels very unrealistic, unfortunately. Still, great idea for a mod, thank you.

Not exposed to modders, sadly.
Not sure if its even possabile, but have your NPC's ALSO hide along with you in nearby (or the same one if big enough?) hiding spots?
I would like to be able to sleep while hiding (in bed)
it would be so cool that if you were covered with blood the zombies smells and track you making a counter for it
I don't really think hiding should make a character bored if there are zombies or other players nearby. I think I'd be rather on edge and anxious if I were hiding in a closet or under a bed and know that zeds are around. Is it possible to make debuffs dependent on zed proximity at all? If so maybe adjust for boredom if there are none nearby, panic if there are. If that's not possible, or too much work, then that's fair. I do know the descriptions states it uses teleportation in some manner, so that could potentially make it a bit difficult. In any case, looks like a great mod. I can see it being in my load order for most runs!
More of a question, but... Does this support the bandits mod?
I don't seem to be able to hide in a dumpster. Please add that option. :)
