Actually, I'll post a more detailed explanation here:
1.4.5 adds the Flint and Mushroom boi
The Flint being added to 1.4.5 makes me unable to add The Flint (signature drop of The Concierge, big problem) and makes the chance of the Terraria devs adding The Concierge Not Zero (although still unlikely)
The Mushroom Boi being added is a kick between the legs because I have no idea what I would replace Chester with, other than that
My brother suggested swapping the Flint and Lucy the Axe when 1.4.5 comes out, but that would be too confusing for gameplay purposes
It all boils down to "I should've been patient and waited for 1.4.5 to release before considering a crossover swap"

idea for deerclops: if i remember correctly in don't starve there's a giant racoon boss that you fight during autum, so what if you turn deerclops into that guy? Besides, if i am not mistaken you have confirmed that after you cooomplete boss swap you'll make a biome swap pack in order to make the bosses not feel out of place, right? Well, if you made deerclops dead cells related then just what would you turn the snow biome into? But with that racoon guy from don't starve you've got just the thing: an autum biome.

Interesting, I'll look into it but it's not as though biomes have to be fully replaced when their bosses are swapped. The Tundra was originally just going to have its rubble edited slightly to look like the Concierge had brought some debris with him, no full blown Tundra replacement.

*PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE* I remembered the name of the boss. "Bearger". Also, I got a few ideas for the autumn biome. The ice is instead ancient roots buried in the soil and the snow is compressed, fallen leaves that are so many they have basically became the soil. The evergreens are birch trees with beautiful orange leafs. Instead of snow, orange leaves keep falling. I also got ideas about the bearger's fight and the resprites of the attacks. First off is the ice spikes attack. My first thought was him punching the ground just like deerclops does in the normal game but instead of ice spikes coming out of the ground, leaves get launched into the air instead...but I ran into some issues with this idea. The first being that it'd be too hard to animate (especially in pixel art) but wouldn't result in anything visually appealing. The second was that I thought to myself " how in the underworld does a bunch of leaves hurt a human as much as sharp spikes made of ice?!". The third was that it was not only not worth it to animate because of how visually unappealing it was but because it was visually unappealing in general. So I started brainstorming and then I got this idea. Instead of ice spikes, bearger raised his hands and made giant roots come out of the ground. Now for his hand attack. In don't starve, bearger can summon normal racoons to fight alongside him (I think, I haven't played the game In years) so I thought and thought about how I could implement that attack into this interpretation of him and then I was given this idea: the hands are instead a bunch of cute, little racoons, all holding onto one, singular bird. I also found a way to implement my previous idea for the bearger launching leaves into the sky as deerclops's attack that I completely forgot even existed in which he launches chunks of the ground into the air (the sheer fact that I had forgotten about that attack while basically recreating it in my mind is confirmation that I possess less IQ than a weird radio) I dunno about that thing where he gets enraged when you get too far from him, maybe bearger could get overtaken by roots or a bunch of little racoons emerge from inside his fur and point at the direction bearger is facing although I think that the player could maybe think that they're too cute and stop attacking him, thus making the fight indirectly harder. The best thing is that you don't need to change most of his drops as they're mostly related to don't starve in general as opposed to deerclops himself (* sad deerclops noises*) so changing him into another don't starve boss is kinda like a loophole.

Also, sorry for making the snow biome concept go from "just some rocks and pieces of scrap lol" to a complete biome overhaul.

it doesn't make sense for this to be a complete biome overhaul. i like the deerclops swap with 'bearger', so why not just make the bearger look relatively snowy/wintery to fit in with the atmosphere as if it was always there? imo itd make more sense to do that
